Happy Fourth of July!

It's the 4th of July!  We just came home from the hospital last night and I opted to stay home with Kaylie.  Mike got up early to help the boys decorate their bikes for the ward pancake breakfast and parade.  They added the pink streamers in honor of Kaylie being born.  I love how Mike is so creative and thoughtful!  My mom went out there to help get the bikes ready too!

they made it to the breakfast and had pancakes!  Sunny day!

Some boys showing off their strength.
Then the bike parade began.  The boys had fun riding around the parking lot.

Did they just light a firecracker???  not sure what they are looking at.

There was an Elder serving in our ward.  He is from Idaho and can work a lasso.  The boys had fun watching his tricks.

And getting caught in it.

The boys had a chance to try the lasso too.

The Elder also could work a whip.
He could snap the pop firecracker with his whip...pretty impressive.
Then on the way home, the wind blew through the tahoe waving all of Kaylie's streamers

For the evening.  Mike went with the boys, Auntie K and my mom over to the Bullocks house and watched all the fireworks on Cottage Lake.  This has been such a warm/hot/sunny summer so far, everything is pretty dry.  Had to be extra vigilant when lighting the fireworks.  Happy Independence Day!
