Christmas Day 2016

Christmas is here!!!  The boys each got a Mountain bike.  As we were getting them from the shed, so Santa could deliver them, a ravenous animal came shooting out of the doorway past us...Mike kicked and ended up kicking my leg!  Yikes!!!  I guess a cat had made it's home in our warm shed away from the cold.  Had no idea! We had to laugh!  Even Kaylie got her own little trike.  She likes to ride it backwards.  :)

Trying it out down the hall...There's my handsome man...
Kaylie got some new silver shoes...
The boys got light sabers which Kaylie loves to swing around..
Cody is reading his Pokemon book and has his nerf gun beside him with lots of extra bullets.  ;)
Mike got us these comfy camping chairs.  We set them up and relaxed for awhile...I think Auntie K must have shot that picture.  Mike is showing his new sweater here..
Grandma Wood and Auntie K slept over for the night.  K slept under Kaylie's bunk bed in the little house.  :) and Grandma Wood slept on the couch.
Kaylie tried out my chair...pretty comfy.  She got this camo jacket from Auntie K.

Gloves for the boys...they can play on touch screens while wearing their gloves.  LOL
They both got these soft bathrobes...they loved them!  Decker got a Chess set.
Kaylie got a Zoo board book.  She loves reading it over and over!

Giving daddy kisses....

She knows how to close her eyes...

I got Mike a toilet seat!  Needed to replace the one in the boys bathroom.  I love it!  It has the whisper close and has a trainer seat for Kaylie.  2 in 1!  :)  and it's comfortable!!
Grandma got Kaylie a Cabbage Patch doll.  Her name is Savannah
Later, we went over to Grandma Wood's house for our luncheon.  Lots of sandwiches and games!
We played Heads UP and Charades.   Everyone had a great time!

Me and Morgan had a little conversation in ASL.  She is learning and is about to go on her mission to Peru.  --same mission that Uncle Skip served in.  Soo cool!

We had a fantastic couple of days!!!

Christmas Eve 2016

Our Christmas Eve was a little different than it had been in past years.  We didn't go to Skip and Angela's this year and the Todescos didn't throw their Christmas Eve party at their home.  We had our shopping done and so we spent the day making cookies and watching Christmas movies and just having a relaxing day.  --unlike past years where I feel like I'm always trying to rush around to get things done.  We delivered cookies to some families in the neighborhood and in our ward, worked on our Christmas Cards and got our letter finished.

We had a visitor come over.  Santa came and brought some legos for the boys and some body wash and a book for little Kaylie.  At one point, Cody asked us all to be quiet so he could figure out his Legos in peace....

Kaylie again was hesitant to take anything from a red dressed ELF!

YUMMM Popcorn for everyone!  Henry and the Purple Crayon! for Kaylie...not enough bright pictures in it to keep her attention...

Mike got his new gun too....

Like our fireplace to help set the mood??
After we read the story about Jesus being born from Luke, we opened our pajama presents.  Kaylie just hugged her jammies.  She was so thrilled at the soft texture.

The boys loved their Batman/Superman pajamas...

Santa came at about 2:00 a.m.  Me and dad tried to stay awake to get a glimpse of Santa for the boys and we did!!
He even tried out Decker and Cody's bikes!  Cody was concerned he wouldn't be able to get through our chimney with the mirror in the way.  I told him, all was possible with Santa...He's magical!
