Adam and Amber July 6-8, 2012

Adam, Amber and Abigail came to visit for the weekend.  We had yummy shishkabobs for dinner on Friday night and then a bonfire out back.
On Saturday before Decker's birthday party, we went floating down the Snoqualmie River.  Abigail was all ready to go...  I tried to get all three in the backseat, but not wide enough angle...
Decker tried to put on his life jacket all by himself.. Hahaha!
Gotta have the drinks cooler safe...and are extra large deli sandwich...
Adam and his family before we went down the river...
 So excited!
Our little model to be....strutting her stuff..

 Hugs between cousins...
Waiting for all the rafts to be blown up...such patient little kiddos!

 Adam and Amber!
Okay, Finally ready to go get in the water.  It was super cold.  Decker and Cody would lean their heads way over into the water and get their hair wet.  It took us about 1 1/2-2 hours to float the 3 miles.  It was nice and relaxing, in a month the water should be much warmer, wish they could come back and float again. It was such a fun day.  Then we got back to our house around 6:00 and had tacos and birthday cake to celebrate the Birthday boy!

After everyone went to bed, Mike and I stayed up getting ready for our talks that we had to prepare for the next day at church.  Our topic was Choosing the Right and Making Correct Decisions.  It was a little distracting as our boys were yelling, dadda, dadda and mama, mama during our talks.  So glad Amber, Adam and Grandma Wood were there to help during sacrament meeting.  We had such a fun visit with Adam and Amber.  They said they might not make it back next year because, they're hoping to be having another little one next summer....Good luck you two!!  We love you!  Hope to see you soon!

Decker is FOUR!!! July 7th, 2012

So, I know we celebrated Decker's birthday with cousins in Las Vegas, but we also had a birthday party for him on his birthday in Washington.  We stuck with the Thomas the train theme with these SIGN cupcakes and little track in the middle.  And of course Gordon the Tank Engine #4 is here to celebrate his Fourth birthday...
 Happy Boy!

He chose a GREEN GO cupcake to start with...
Daddy wanted to eat some of his too...
Abigail enjoyed a green one as well.  ;)
Grandma Wood brought Decker a BUZZ LIGHTYEAR costume for his birthday.  At first he had a hard time taking off his Spiderman costume, but finally gave in ...and loved it..

 Shooting his laser here..
We also got this toddler bed off of Freecycle and it was perfect timing for the occasion!
Then we thought we'd have the two characters together!  Can you beleive it?  Cody now fits in Decker's old Woody costume!  So sweet!  You've got a friend in me...so glad these two are brothers!

Fourth of July 2012

Pancake and Flag Ceremony at the church.  Decker rode his bike in the parade with Cody riding on the back.

Some kids had more impressive wheels than ours...
This is Elanora, one of Cody's friends from nursery.
Decker loved riding in the back of this golf cart.  At one point, there was an accident where all four of these kids sitting in the back seat flew off the cart--including Decker.  Thankfully there were only scrapes and bruises.
The ward activity was a great way to begin our Fourth of July!  Then to Grandma's for our Mike/Steve Firework show in the evening.  Grandma was flying in from San Jose tonight.   Playing in Grandma's field...
 Eating S'mores around the fire.
 Decker and his sparkler..
Decker is so sweet pulling Cody around the circle and as you can see, Cody is loving it!
Me Cody and Spiderman...he always has his costume ready for danger.  ;)
 Relaxing together in their chair.

 Mike?... check...Steve?...Check...Fire....Double check!
The boys plugging their ears due to the loud booms...
Cody loves to snuggle in...I love how Decker's lap is his space too...
 Cute brothers...

Decker got tired and wanted to get away from all the noise, so he decided to sit in the car and then fell asleep...

Happy Fourth!

On our way back home...Day 10

We decided to stop in Albany Oregon.  We have friends, (Keith and Sara Butler) that live there and they met us at a park off of the freeway.  We stretched our legs and had a nice visit.

Then we walked over to this little pond.  There were some fishermen...trying to catch some fish...

I let them play at the ponds' edge and get wet...probably scared the fish away...
Keith about threw Daphne in... hahaha

Now only 5 more hours to go till we reach Woodinville.  We arrived home at about 1:30 a.m.  So good to be home.  What great memories we made on this trip.  Thank you to everyone for making it AWESOME!  We loved seeing so much family and friends everywhere we went.  We really feel loved!
