Oregon Coast

After the graduation ceremonies, we decided to go up the Oregon coast on our way home. Last stop...ASTORIA, Oregon. This is the house that was in jeopardy back in the 80's in the movie Goonies. From the house, we could hear the barking of Sea Lions, so we went down to the docks. They were so loud!

We had to wake Decker up for the Sea Lions. He had quite the "do". :)

Canon Beach. Decker had been talking about the ocean for the 2 days previous and he was so excited to go Swimming. Once we got there...though....different story...

"It was coming"--referring to the waves. He didn't want to be in the water anymore.
He said, "I want to go home".

We kept arguing with him to keep his clothes on. He really wanted to be in his Lightning McQueen undies though.

Introducing Dr Luke!

After 8 years of college, 4 years at BYU-Provo and 4 at Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. I'm proud to say that Luke Gamble is now Dr. Gamble of Optometry.
We all went down for the ceremony. We had sun, wind and rain during the outdoor ceremony. There's more pictures to see of all the fun. But will have to post more later. Had a great time visiting Luke and Lora and their cute kids! It was great to see how the little cousins interacted. I hate to see my brother leave Oregon. I didn't feel so alone in the Northwest, knowing he was also in the Northwest. I wish him so much success in his search to find the right job.

I'm so proud of you Luke!Future Grads...

The Mohawk 5/10/11

Time to do the mohawk pictures...Cody is 7 months old...he needs a little haircut...

This last one is of Decker's mohawk. He was almost 6 months old here. I seem to see a pattern, except the color of the hair....

Happy Easter

The Saturday on Easter Weekend was the best day we've had all year. Not a cloud in the sky. We broke out the t-shirts and shorts for the occasion. Decker had a lot of fun running around chasing down Easter eggs. I love how he would wear his basket like a purse. ;)

When we painted Easter eggs on Sunday, as a mom, I had to hold back and let him create. After telling him he couldn't eat the pretty colored tablets and that they weren't candy, I let him use his fingers instead of the egg dipping tool they put in your kit, to put the egss in and out of the colored water. And letting him put the dried eggs back in the colored water multiple times for more enjoyment. He had a great time and put stickers everywhere, not just on the eggs.

We got all the boys Easter suits. Boy are they handsome! We also put Cody in the Easter basket like we did Decker.
The Easter Bunny came...

After a long day...nice to pass out at Grandma's.
HAPPY EASTER!!
