Haircut #4 8/18/09

Decker needed another haircut. This time I actually used clippers instead of just scissors.
I used the number #8.
These are pics taken before church:

He just scored a 3 pointer. :)

Still has a bit of a rooster tail...
Isn't he just handsome???

Farrogut State Park Camping Trip 8/12/09

We went camping in Athol, ID, a little bit north of Coeur d'Alene at Farrogut State Park.
One Grandpa Bob, 3 Aunts, 4 Uncles, 9 cousins.
I learned: When making s'mores, graham "crappers" make the best ones.
You're not going to get stung if you hit the yellow jacket traps.
If you ride your bike too far, Uncle James will put your bike high up in a tree.
Frogs have 9 lives.
Decker learned to rock back and forth in his high chair from Aubree.
I noticed Decker has 2 bottom molars coming in at the same time. Ouch!

Grandpa Bob was our host. He's wearing Aubree's hat.
It was time for Decker to take a nap. It was the first weekend that the campground had seen temperatures less than 90 degrees. Every day we had some rain. This is just one of the many thunder/rainstorms that crashed down on us. Mike is trying to secure our awning.

Warming up for a nice nap.

A fellow campground tenant found this frog and carried it around with her for days in an ice cream container. It became the object of much controversy.

Decker loved these strawberries

Haylie and Decker became fast friends.

Especially when she hangs me upside down.

All the kids rode their bikes around the campground. "Con Man" Conner gave Matthew a ride around the campground circle on his training wheeled bike.

Aubree pulled Decker's tractor up into her lap. What a brute!

Haylie and Aubree posing for the camera.

Grandpa Bob brought 4 kayaks for everyone to paddle around on Lake Pond Oreille.

Aubree liked pushing Decker around in the stroller...

James is ready to play... where's the Beach??

Decker's ready for the water...

He liked getting in the water...

Matthew with his water skateboard...
Decker was giggling as we paddled around...
And then he fell asleep with dad... Dave and Conner taking a spin...
Savannah snorkeling around...
Quin finally decided the water was awesome...
Caroline enjoying the little bit of sunshine that came around our way...
Ilee getting her purple life jacket on... fashion first.... :)
Jon, Mike and Decker kayaking around...

Quin climbed up this huge pine tree... Savannah then joined him....
At Grandpa Bob's blueberry garden. All kids enjoyed some juicy blueberries...
Decker in Grandpa Bob's John Deere hat while riding his tractor...
At Silverwood theme park, Mike "won" this monkey for Decker.
It was a great camping trip and look forward to doing it again!

He's walking! 8/7/09

Decker decided it was time to give up the crawling and WALK! He started walking on his own the weekend of the 7th! He just turned 13 months old--- to be exact! I love how he holds his hands in the air to help keep his balance and how he likes to watch his feet move!

Weekend with Luke Lora and Dallin 8/7/09

Luke and Lora came down for the weekend to visit with Dallin during Luke's time off from school. We got to hang out on a boat borrowed from Seattle Boat. The day wasn't sunny, so we didn't actually get in the water. We watched float planes land on Lake Union. Saw the Seahawks new training field with their "12th Man" flag flying in the wind. Had some lunch down at Kidd Valley. Boated through a neighborhood that looked like it had been flooded, But in reality was a sort of "million-dollar-row" where everyone drove their boats up to their homes. We sped along Lake Washington with the wind in our hair and even got sprinkled on a little.

Decker's almost out... Me and Decker hanging out up front.
Decker loves being behind the wheel.
Our hair blowing in the wind...
Dad and son...
We also hit a couple of parks with the kids. Luke and Lora were pros at climbing the wall...Then Dallin tried climbing...
Decker liked kissing this huge frog...
We enjoyed this oversized swing...
Luke, Lora and Dallin swinging...Cute family!
Decker wanted to try it out by himself...
This awesome merry-go-round...
Dallin liked throwing his head back when on the swings...

After a long weekend...the boys were tired!

Thanks for coming to play!!!
