10 DAYS --7 STATES

This is the Beginning of our Summer Vacation.  We planned to drive to Salt Lake City to swap out a company car for my partner Gary and then go on to Las Vegas to visit my family, then to Disneyland for a couple of days, then back to Las Vegas and on to Seattle.  Our plans changed the 3rd day into our vacation when we found out that Mike's Grandma June passed away. She has been sick for the last 7 months from Bone cancer and finally went to the other side.  So, instead of returning to Las Vegas after Disneyland we went on to San Jose for her funeral and then back to Seattle.
Day 1: Get up at 3:30 a.m. and leave by 5:00 a.m. to arrive in Salt Lake City at about 8:30 p.m.
Day 2:  Hang out with James and his family and Jon and Julie's family. Drive to Las Vegas 2:00 p.m.  Arrive in Las Vegas at 9:00 p.m.
Day 3:  Swimming Birthday party for Decker's Fourth birthday with all the Las Vegas cousins.
Day 4:  Drive to Disneyland
Day 5:  8:30 a.m. - 12 15 a.m California Adventure
Day 6:  8:30 a.m. - 12:15 a.m. Disneyland  Drive to Malibu for night at Crystal and Gordon's.
Day 7:  Motorcycle rides with Gordon, Lunch with Freddi in L.A.  Arrive in Campbell CA at 9:30 p.m.
Day 8:  Funeral for Grandma June Hancock
Day 9:  Drive to Great Aunt Roberta, Rick and Becky Duncan's home. Lewiston, CA  Dinner together

Day 10:  Drive home to Seattle.  Stopping in Albany OR along the way for play time with Keith and Sara's family.  Arrive home at 1:30 a.m.--day 11.  ;)

 We stopped at a park in Idaho and had some lunch and fed the squirrels and then the Seagulls came...they enjoyed part of our Subway lunch.  Cody loved chasing these squirrels, but they were just too quick.

 When we got to Salt Lake at James' house we had a surprise.  Dave and his kids were there.  They had all just come back from camping with Grandpa Bob.  All the kids dressed up in superhero and princess costumes.  Decker was a Thor/Captain America/captain Hook all at once.

 Cody loved playing with this little doll high chair.  He would carry it up the stairs to show me.  Matthew loved playing with the magnetic marbles that he has on his face.

 In trying to find Jon and Julie's house, we came across this one....look familiar?  It's from the movie "UP"  where are the balloons though?

 Right when we got to Jon's, Cody threw up...I think I fed him something that didn't sit well...cheese or yogurt.  Yuck!  We had to wash out his blanket and Jon let us dry it in their dryer while we played with the chickens.  ;)
