Bellevue Nativity December 4th

The church behind the Temple has transformed their gym and rooms to celebrate the birth of our Saviour.  Each room no longer looks like a church room.  There was a Christ room that was filled with pictures from the Savior's life and the baptismal font had been transformed to be his empty tomb.  There were over 500 nativities displayed in the gym and primary room.  The boys were sent on a scavenger hunt to find different items.  They also had live music in the chapel that you could hear throughout the building.  We spent the evening there and had a wonderful time.  In one of the rooms, they had a manger scene set up and you could dress up and have your picture taken.  We first decided to be Mary, Joseph, Jesus with two shepherds.

Then we decided to all be Angels.  I love how Cody is blowing his horn.

Here's a nativity made out of bottle caps...

The building has a new Family History Center.  It is very modern with touch screens to find your ancestry.  We had fun having our pictures taken in the clothing from different time periods.

Here's a duck nativity...
Another room played short videos about Jesus...
After we  left we had Little Caesar's pizza in the parking lot at 9:00.  It was such a fun evening !!
