Mike's birthday

I was in Columbia for sales training on Mike's birthday.  Mike's dad drove over from Couer d'Alene to surprise Mike.  He went down to his work.  Mike was so confused when the admin said his dad was there.  Total SURPRISE!!-- SUCCESS!!  He went to lunch with his mom and dad.  He was in heaven!!  Bob made a chocolate cake and they celebrated Mike's birthday later that night.  There was even some yummy cake left when I got home.

When I got home from Columbia, for Mike's birthday we went to watch and listen to Auntie K sing in the Ensign chorus at Benaroya Hall in Seattle.  We had a babysitter and I asked her to bake a cake for me while we were gone and then hide it in the oven.  Supposed to be a surprise...well it was noticed that someone had used the mixer and that the oven was still warm...cat's out of the bag!  ;)
So on Sunday on our way home from church, we saw a sign that said "MAN SALE"  So Mike came home and got his dad and they all went to the Garage sale.  I stayed at home and decorated the cake.  ;)
Later Auntie K and Grandma came over to celebrate Mike's birthday.

Cody was pretty sleepy.  It's been a long week with me being gone and them getting up early, staying up late...

Mike donated some money to a friend to help pay for her medical expenses, as she is dealing with unknown medical issues and travelling to the Mayo clinic to find some answers.  He said he didn't want any presents and helping MaKanda would be his gift to himself.
I still wanted to get him something, so I got him a SUPERMAN shirt as he is my SUPER MAN.
Also, a little book called "The TOTAL Outdoorsman Manual"
Decker will certainly grow into this shirt as he is already a SUPER Boy!

 This is a birthday card...Thomas Kinkade 3D.
Grandma found some of his photos at her house and put them into an album....of course, she took out all the pictures of past girlfriends.  hahaha! Mike liked looking at his pictures of years past.
Such a fun night.  Here's a unexpected visitor in our front yard...

 okay...see you later!

Sweet brothers after a long and fun week!
