We went bowling for our family home evening activity. As soon as we got there, Decker covered his ears because of how loud it was. He's been sensitive to loud noises since he went to the Monster Truck show in January. After awhile he got used to it and had a great time. He was so cute as he tried different ways to roll his bowling ball down the lane. He kicked it, rolled it between his legs, threw it...thank goodness for the bumpers on each side of the lane. One of my favorite positions, was after he rolled it down, he would put his little hands on his hips and watch it as it rolled slowly towards the pins. Unfortuneately, I never got a good picture of his stance. :( but here are a few...
he loved waiting and watching for his ball to magically reappear for his 2nd throw on each turn.
We tried to let Cody have some of the fun too. Cody had to get his hands on these balls. But they were just too heavy for him to pick up. He was very frustrated that he couldn't throw them around like his balls at home.
Here's Cody at the ball station, his hair would be blown all over by the little fan for drying your fingers...tried to get a good pic of all the hair in motion...this is the closest one we got...
By the end of the night, Decker was a pro...I won the highest score. I kept the score card, but currently don't know where it is. Needless to say, Mom won! :) what a fun night. Decker's already asked to go again. ;)
