New Years Resolutions

Was Blogging to be one of my New Years Resolutions?  Should have been, since tomorrow is April 1st and I'm still blogging about December.  So here's to

 NEW YEARS EVE!

After having the traditional yummy Grandma's Spaghetti at Uncle Skip's and Aunt Angela's, we came home and we all actually stayed awake until 12:00 a.m.!
We welcomed the New Year with Pans and Spoons and then a few fireworks and sparklers out front.  We watched Seattle celebrate and welcome in the NEW YEAR at the Space Needle.

I'm pretty impressed that I stayed up as late as I did...highly unusual for this Early to Bed Girl.

Happy 41st birthday Jon! (Dec. 28, 2012)

We came back from Idaho and celebrated Jon's 41st birthday!  Oreo and Ice cream cake--a favorite

 Decker and Cody both wanted to help blow out the candles...

 There's always a trick candle or two...

 

 Then, we thought it would be a good time to have Decker and Cody try on their matching flannel jackets from Aunt Keppi.  Since Quinten had one that was similar, we thought, they would think them very cool since their cousin Quin was wearing one.

 It made for some cute pictures...but they still weren't convinced.  When Keppi warned them that she would just take them back to the store if they didn't like them, Decker said, "Okay".

 

 Then Decker put on his LOWES handyman tools and suspenders.  He felt much more at ease...

 He loves to help daddy out in the shop.

 Cody liked wearing his Spider hat and loves hugging Aunt Keppi.  We sure miss her when she's not here.
