As we were about to give Kaylie her first bath, Annie arrived at the hospital with the family. Here's Aili and Aria. They've been kissing my belly for weeks waiting for Kaylie to arrive.
Mike found this Seahawks hat in the gift shop.
and Chandler. they couldn't wait to hold her.
The Gang's all here!
Cody wants to help the nurse
She's lost about 5 ounces..
Decker wanted to try out the car seat ... yep, You've grown!
Finally I'm feeling up to taking a shower and getting dressed...almost time to go HOME!!!
We chose this Going home outfit...because it was one of the onesies Mike gave to me at Christmas time...even before we knew if it was a girl...to match my polka dot pink jammies...
Doesn't it look like she is smiling? She's excited to get out of here!
Just for kicks, I put a little bow in her hair!
As we were getting all the paperwork to be discharged, she hadn't peed enough times in the last 24 hours like she should. She had peed and pooped a lot in the previous couple of days, but not lately. The nurse went into the hallway to talk to her supervisor...she didn't want to get in trouble for letting us go without the mandated pees for the day. Well, Mike started to check and change her diaper and all of a sudden a fountain of poop and potty flew out of this baby girl soaking Mike 2 feet away! Who knew that a girl could shoot like that! I thought only boys had this power!!! Ali, the nurse in our room ran into the hallway as she is laughing so much to tell the nurse to not worry, "We got it!" It was hilarious!
Okay, time to get in our carseat and go home! ;)
Gotta laugh at my ELEPHANT FEET...
Later that night, Kris and Sarah Kerwan came over with Slurpees. Yummy!
We decided to dive into her closet and try a couple of her clothes on...Fashion show...I think she'll wear this one for her blessing.
And she slept 6 hours straight... 9:00 - 3:30 and then woke up again at 5:30 a.m. What a good little girl!
