My dad thought we should spend 2 days down at Disneyland and go to California Adventure since we were already in the neighborhood, Plus the new CARS LAND was just opening and we have one of the biggest fans in our family, so we took him up on the offer and added a day to the fun park of California Adventure. I ran to Wal Mart the night before and bought an extra stroller and these two hats for the boy which all came in very handy. Amazingly enough, they kept their hats on the whole time and loved them and didn't fight over who got what. :)
Anyways, we started our day out at McDonalds...it was right next door to our hotel. :)
So excited!!
When we first got to the park, the ticketing agent told us to go get in line for a Fast Pass for the Cars Ride. So Mike got in line with Cody and I took Decker to Bugs Life land. This is Decker's first ride. He looks so excited and happy.
Here's the fat Caterpillar ride which he enjoyed as well.
So Mike came back...our Fast Pass would be available at 9:15 p.m.! So we went to CARS Land to see what else was there! Radiator Springs was amazing! Just like the movies! We got in line to ride the tractors...this is Mater's ride...which is a lot like the Teacups at Disneyland...so fun!

Aww! Aren't they cute? Mater likes to go "Tractor Tipping" in the movie.

Then we went back to Bug's Life land and rode a couple of the rides there, since Cody is tall enough.

Here's the Bear at Grizzley's Water run. Decker was very curious about this tall Bear.
Then we met Minney Mouse, she was on her way on a trip...
Cody and Decker were both very shy around the characters. So most of our pictures have the boys on the outside...away from the character.
Cody watched as Donald Duck met and hugged many children. He was sure engrossed by it. Donald was funny, he has an ego and would say he was better than Mickey Mouse and that he was really NUMBER 1!
This is Duffy...never heard of her before but she is a sweet Bear.

Then they had the PIXAR parade. This was awesome! Monsters Inc.

And of Course, Cars...strangely enough, Lightning McQueen wasn't in the parade, just Mater.
Then since we were hot, and sitting next to these fountains for the parade, we decided to play in the water for awhile. It was here that Gordon Crystal and Kylie showed up to play with us.

Then we got to ride on Grizzley's run. It was so nice to have Gordon and Krystal with us. They knew the ins and outs of all the rides and they'd watch the kids while we went on the "big kid rides" and take our pictures for us.
Both Cody and Decker fell asleep while waiting for us to ride the ride....
We went and rode SCREAMIN' roller coaster. It was really loud!
We loved it though, and SCREAMED!
Here we are getting ready for the Toy Story ride. You wear these 3D glasses and shoot a gun at aliens and such.
Then we ate some pasta and pizza for dinner.
Then we went back to CARS LAND for our 9:15 ride. We actually got to sit in car that looked like Lightning McQueen and we won the race!! It was an awesome ride! Well worth the wait. Decker was a happy boy!

What a fun and exhausting 16 hour day! And we get to get up and do it all over again tomorrow at Disneyland! Gordon and Krystal and Kylie stayed with us a the hotel for the night and spent all day at Disneyland with us the next day too! So awesome!
