Lieds Kids Museum--Las Vegas

Michael Gamble had a great idea for us to do while we were visiting.  He suggested we go play at the Lied's Children's Museum.  There were so many fascinating things to do.  This cylindar tube allowed you to experience 80 mph winds, like what you'd feel in a hurricane.  Grandma went in with the boys.
Mike and I stole a romantic kiss...

Grandma loved playing with this metal cylinder that rotated and you could place other cylindrical wheels on it and watch them spin around and around.
They had this great car where you could change the oil, take off the lugnuts off of the tires, fix the muffler and tons of other things.  The boys loved playing with it and being just like daddy.
Us adults had more fun than the kids with some of the toys.  This huge bubble maker was awesome!  We all took turns making huge beautiful bubbles.
The boys played hard and Cody was out in a flash as we drove home.  So sweet!
Breez and Sophie--cute little cousins!
Let's see how Decker's feet measure up...
Leah's going to teach class today...

Decker loved playing with this luggage check in for the airline.  he had a hard time picking up the luggage and putting it on the conveyor belt.
You're supposed to lift your own weight on this machine. I had to pull Decker up on it.

I love this picture of little Sophie, like she's looking at Mama and saying, "please get me out of here...why?"  and then there's Alex--wickedly laughing in the background... ;)

Cody liked playing in the airplane pretending to be a pilot. So cute!

What a fun afternoon!  so much to see and do!  All the kids loved it!

Visit with Santa...Ethel M Chocolate Factory

We had a busy day going to the Kids Science Center, but we still had a little energy to go down to Green Valley and see the Cactus gardens all lit up at Ethel M's.  Santa was there so that was our first stop.  Isabel and Abigail were both excited to see Santa Claus and sit on his lap.

Decker was excited, but Cody was very nervous and didn't want to get close to him.  We made him though.  :)
Decker told him he wanted Avengers stuff...Cody just wanted to be somewhere else...
So Mike and I entered the picture so that he could feel safe from that SCARY Santa Clause.

Then a couple of candid shots with the decorations.

This little trailer had Santa poking his head out every couple of minutes.  Reminded us of Grandpa Bob.
The "Pretty" M&M was there too.  Once again, Decker thought she was cool, however Cody felt fear.  :)
What a fun night!  I'm glad Grandma, Adam & Amber went with us.

Thanksgiving in Vegas

We drove to Las Vegas for the Thanksgiving break.  It was great to be home for the holidays and be at Grandpa and Grandma Gambles.  The boys were so excited.  This was one of Decker's favorite things to do.  Swing with Tommy.  Do you see Tommy hanging on at the top of the swing?
Leah hosted Thanksgiving dinner at her new home.  Freddi, Scott and Heather came.  Heather just got engaged so she brought her fiance Corey and his 2 daughters.  So excited for her!
Michelle came over for a bit and made grandma's rolls with all the kids and I wanted to get pictures with my sisters before she left.  Such a show off!  ;)

Then everyone thought it would be a good idea to come out and take a group picture.  There were still a few missing from this photo
Like the matriarchs!  Such cute sisters!
Dad evaded the camera too!
Leah and her family...new addition due in May 2013.
Heather and her future family.  :)
We all sat down and played Switch.  this is a game I grew up playing with Grandma Lyon.  She taught me how to shuffle, deal and play cards.  We are passing on her legacy to our children.  :)
Alex has an exercise regime that he shared with us.  He puts this backpack on and drags these tires behind him as he sprints down the road. Of course we all had to try it.  Go mom, Go!
Isn't he just cute!!
Got a stowaway going for a ride.
Such a fun ride!  Eliott and Decker hitting the blacktop!
And there's the master, in perfect form!
Here's all the kids eating leftovers on Friday.  We went to the Lieds Kids Museum after lunch for the afternoon. Pictures to come...
Thank you for having us in Vegas for Thanksgiving.  We were so happy to be home with everyone!
